Business Development Manager

Your Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to connect with sales prospects and grow the revenue of our organization. From facilitating initial conversations, to developing team wide best practices, you will be an integral member of our sales organization.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating excitement about Verimos through outbound prospecting and outreach. You’ll get to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team, but most importantly you’ll be in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company.

This is not a plug and play position where the rules and guidelines are already established and well-worn, and you are expected to fit in and follow the procedures. You will be the point person responsible for owning and improving our customer success playbook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a creative go-getter, and wants to make their mark by pioneering methods and techniques to be used by future hires who are going to work for you and implement your playbook.

This role is instrumental in making sure our customers get up and running on the Verimos product, successfully roll the product out to their entire workforce, and begin realizing revenue. The position reports directly to the CEO of the company.


  • Develop new business leads and enhance existing relationships.
  • Utilize prospecting and research tools, coordinate with the Verimos leadership team to qualify opportunities; prepare for and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
  • Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales development process
  • Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the executive team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans.
  • Work internally with other departments to ensure proper quality and quantity of demonstrations.


The ideal candidate:

  • Has 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced outbound sales role selling software to small and medium sized businesses (100-2,000 employees).
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Highly organized and motivated.
  • Strong work ethic, with the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Uses all the modern tools to manage their workload, collaborate with others, stay organized, and communicate their status on a regular basis.
